If you’ve been around the MLM industry for any length of time, you know that to really create long-term growth in your business you should always be recruiting MLM leaders into your network. Attracting retail sales and consumers is always great for the paycheck, but true growth comes from bringing in other like-minded people who want to grow an MLM business. So how can you do that? Here are four ways to get your started.

1. Prospect People Who Are Already Leaders
This is based on the same principle as the saying, “If you want something done ask a busy person to do it.” In other words, a busy person is already accustomed to getting things done so asking a busy person to do something means that it will probably get done. The same holds true for recruiting MLM business builders. Don’t just recruit from your warm market or from among your friends. Instead, look for people who are clearly leaders, even if you don’t know them very well. It could be your real estate agent, banker, or the president of the PTA. People who already own small businesses are excellent leaders. If the person demonstrates initiative and leadership, take the time to cultivate a relationship and find the time to present your opportunity to them. People who are already leaders are quite busy, so your percentage of signups among this crowd may be lower, but signing up even one of these people will take you far in generating long-term growth for your MLM business.

2. Let People Find You
While you always wanting to be recruiting MLM business builders into your network with active prospecting techniques, be sure that you aren’t doing all the work by trying to convince people to join your business. Balance your prospecting efforts with marketing approaches that allow leaders you don’t know to find you. For instance, if you do article marketing by submitting articles relevant to your business to directories, chances are you will attract people who are actively searching for information and help on MLM. Those who connect with your writing and take the time to contact you are the ones you want in your business because they have demonstrated their initiative and leadership skills.

3. Practice Lead Abundance
The only way to truly spot the leaders who might really take your MLM business far is to keep yourself from getting sandbagged by tire-kickers and time-wasters. And how do you do that? By practicing lead abundance. When you have plenty of leads and prospects to work with, you won’t feel tempted to spend hours on the phone with people who are not serious about working their business. The people who are truly successful at recruiting MLM leaders are those are quick to sort through the pack and who only spend time with people that demonstrate active effort and show results. If you are not able to generate enough leads on your own to practice lead abundance, consider buying some leads to get you started. We have found a source of high quality MLM leads here.

4. Be a Pioneer
In recruiting MLM leaders to your business you are going to face a lot of stiff competition, either in person or on the internet. Most people have been prospected over and over by friends and family, and those who are actively looking for MLM opportunities on the internet are inundated with offers. The way you can make yourself stand out is to never stop being a pioneer. Never stop learning about your business, the MLM industry, ways to market, and methods for developing long-term growth. One of the best ways to be a pioneer is to align yourself with other leaders, either in your upline or in the industry in general. Whether you learn from Robert Kiyosaki, marketing experts, or your upline mentors, stay on the leading edge by learning new marketing techniques. After all, that’s what you get paid to do in MLM, right? So being a marketing pioneer can help you do your job better every day.

Hi,
Very well written and to the point, it would be great to see the expanded info as well. Any detailed information you might be able to contribute would be very welcomed.
There are masses of people out there these days, all looking for an alternative, but it is like you say, they are literally being bombarded. Wouldn’t it be nice to back them into the trailer, at their pace, and find finally a way to inform, educate and then let them have a fun experience that would help them in the decision making process, instead of the torturing that seems to be taking place out there in the real world these days?

I look forward to any ideas you might have on this topic:)

Hey Rocky…good of you to stop by and leave a message. It would be nice if people weren’t totally bombarded, but alas! I will be writing more on this topic soon! Cheers, Stephanie

Hi Stephanie,

I agree that for a starter they need an assistance like having a company wherein could provide them quality leads and eventually produce leads on their own. They just have to be wise enough in choosing a company that will truly help them.

Kind regards

Live MLM Leads,

Agreed. A good company is of paramount importance. Otherwise the leads you get are a total waste of time! Pre-qualified or surveyed leads seem to work best for us.

Cheers,
Stephanie
