Oh, about me? You want to know about me? It’s simple. I’m an online MLM pioneer. I care about the way online MLM marketing develops as the internet continues to grow, morph, change, and flex. I’m a true believer. I believe MLM can be marketed online with integrity, honesty, forthrightness, grace, and intelligence. It can be. For the most part, it’s not being done that way now … but I have faith.
For the MLM industry, the online world is a place embraced by a few. Others are being dragged kicking and screaming into this new world.
Without a doubt, online MLM is the next frontier. While there’s no doubt that face-to-face prospecting and marketing will always be a useful channel for MLM marketing, online marketing is as inevitable as a juggernaut. Online MLM marketing will happen. It is happening.
But online MLM isn’t being done well, just yet, and that’s where I come in. I feel online MLM marketing can be done without excess hype, screaming fonts, and endless words highlighted in yellow block print. Yuck! Online MLM can be conducted with the same principled approach that the best online marketers are using. The best of the online marketing world have a lot to teach those of us seeking to market MLM online.
MLM, done righteously, is an amazing school of business for those who yearn to learn about small business ownership, for those who long to own their own businesses but have no idea where to begin. Done poorly, online MLM is just another “fad” that will come and go … kind of like diets or New Year’s resolutions. Here today, gone tomorrow.
So, at the risk of sounding like a commercial for the military, I’m holding out for a few good people.
Who are these people? People who are true believers. People who know the internet is THE next thing for MLM marketing, especially cold market prospecting, for a long time to come. People who don’t have to be dragged kicking and screaming into the online world. People who will suck up online marketing knowledge like crackheads suck up crack. People who want to work steadily but not crazily. People who aren’t afraid to get it wrong but aim to get it right. People who are mavericks, because it takes a maverick to do online MLM marketing right now.
