Get Da Plan for LinkedIn

LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Ning, Business|Business, YouTube … ack! Who can keep up with all the “recommended” social media marketing we are supposed to do? I know that MLM and network marketing are supposed to be about “networking,” but please! This is getting ridiculous.

If you’re drowning in social media marketing for your MLM biz, then I have help for you. Grab a stopwatch, and then start reading this series of articles from business coach Jackie Nagel of Synnovatia on how to maximize your efforts on LinkedIn. The first article in the series is posted on the Go Small Biz Blog (link below), and full series is being posted over the next few days:

The Care and Feeding of LinkedIn

Jackie has “Da Plan” for keeping your interaction on LinkedIn sane, effective, and productive. With Jackie’s plan, you spend 30 minutes a day networking, and you focus on very specific goals. No more aimless wandering.

Da Plan for LinkedIn

With Jackie’s plan, you’ll learn to:
- define your social media marketing objectives
- map an online route of places to visit once you’ve logged in
- create a fantastic (and useful) profile
- surf productively
- connect with specific people one-on-one
- get the recommendations you want from your network

Jackie’s plan is literally a step-by-step approach to sanity in social media marketing. If you’re not sure how to proceed with social media, start with “da plan.” Read, try things, experiment, and learn. Later, if you get brave (or crazy), you can adapt the techniques to other social networks like Facebook.
