I just got off a great coaching call with my upline MLM sponsor, and one of the most valuable things I learned is this: “Online MLM leaders are readers.” On a recent training call sponsored by my upline team, they surveyed the top title-holders on the team (the people making the really huge bucks) about how often they read educational books.
It turns out that the top MLM leaders read–a lot! While most of the top people read one book a week, on average, one super-achiever read one book a day. And I’m not talking about the easy-reading Danielle Steele romance novel either. I’m talking about self-improvement books on MLM, marketing, financial savvy, law of attraction, and so forth.
What MLM Leaders Read
Here’s a small sample of the books that these leaders read:
Put Your Dream to the Test: 10 Questions that Will Help You See It and Seize It
by John C. Maxwell
Rich Dad’s Increase Your Financial IQ: Get Smarter with Your Money
by Robert T. Kiyosaki
For the Young, Fabulous & Broke
by Suze Orman
The Next Millionaires
by Paul Zane Pilzer
The Science of Getting Rich
by Wallace D. Wattles and Ruth L Miller
Awakening the Entrepreneur Within: How Ordinary People Can Create Extraordinary Companies
by Michael E. Gerber
The 4-Hour work Week: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich

How often do you read books, listen to mp3 recordings, get on webinars, or otherwise participate in self-education that could help you improve your MLM business? Could becoming more active in a self-designed learning program help you learn more about:
- the MLM industry in general
- your company specifically
- how to improve your financial IQ
- how to more effectively market your MLM opportunity and business
- ways to become a better leader
- finding and using your own unique “voice” in marketing
- how to be more productive in your business
What do you think? Have you read or learned anything great recently that would help the rest of us?
