Most posts I write about the technical side of online MLM marketing, such as how to find and use keywords, how to maximize social media, and other such “techie details.”
But every now and then it’s important for us online MLM marketers to get back to the fundamental drive that lies behind every one of our businesses: the WHY.
Every now and then, ask yourself why you are doing your online MLM business.
Some ways to ask yourself why include:
- Are the reasons you started your online MLM business still the same?
- If the original reasons no longer exist, are there new and better reasons that now inspire you to work your MLM business?
- Is your MLM business fulfilling the original need or is it just a bunch of sweat equity that isn’t producing results?
- If your business isn’t producing results, is it because you haven’t put the time in or is there some other reason?
- Do you still enjoy (if you ever did) working your business?
- Are you fulfilling “needs” or “wants” in your life with your business? Or both?
- Do you still want to continue to work your business in the same way or is there a new way that might be more fun, productive, or useful?
It doesn’t really matter how you answer the questions above because there are no right answers. It just matters that every now and then you stop working your business for long enough to locate your WHY.
Depending on how long you have been working your MLM business, and depending on how long it’s been since you came up for air, you may have forgotten your WHY.
Finding your WHY again is important. It reconnects you to your business, and gives you a boost of energy with which to do your business. If your original reasons for starting the business no longer exist, then either find a new set of reasons or retire!
