So what are these people looking for as they seek an authentic connection with real business people who do MLM? They’re looking for the warm bodies behind the websites: the moms who write the blogs while juggling three kids or the zen cowgirl who does web stuff between getting breaking colts (that’s me).
There are lots of ways to demonstrate that there is a warm body behind your online presence. One of the major ways is in the way you write. Do you sound like an online parrot mimicking some salesy crap out of an ebook you downloaded? Or do you sound like a unique person with your own challenges, loves, hates, obsessions, and business savvy?

Here’s one simple way to stand out from the crowd: be connected with and passionate about your MLM company. It sounds simple, but this is a step that a lot of people miss. Do you love your MLM company? If so, do you know why? Do you know how to express that passion to other people in a way that excites them, so that they want to join your business? And can you do that easily online?
Oops, are you hyperventilating? Sorry, let’s slow down and back up. All I mean to say is this: you picked the MLM company you joined for certain reasons. Now, you need to identify those reasons so you can express those in an exciting but not over-hyped way to the people looking for a solid business opportunity. You might also need to look for some additional reasons that might attract new distributors to your MLM opportunity.
Questions to Help You Connect Your with Your MLM Company
To get you started thinking about the reasons you joined and love your MLM company, here are 5 questions to ask yourself. You might not know the answers to these questions right off the bat, but these questions will get you started on the thinking process.
1. Why did you choose the MLM company you chose?
2. Is that a good reason for someone else to join?
3. Can you name three positive reasons someone would want to buy your company’s products?
4. Can you list 3 facts about your company that would attract people to join your group as a business builder?
5. Do you know where you MLM company ranks in the MLM industry by volume, growth, or number of distributors?
